Stranger Things Book Tag!   ( Source:  Sarah Sunbeemz ) I watched Stranger Things and like most shows I watch I like to do the book tags so when I saw that this was a tag I just had to do it. 1:  EPIC INTRO – The opening of Stranger Things is amazing and really grabs your attention. Name a book that grabbed you attention from the first page.  A book that grabbed my attention from the first page (at least recently) has to be November 9 by Colleen Hoover. The first sentence wasn't anything special or something that immediately made me want to watch them all. The thing is, though, I read the first page. Then the next, and the next. Before I knew it I was finishing the book.  2:  Dungeons & Dragons – Name a fantasy world you would like to experience yourself. One of the many, many fantasy worlds I'd like to live in is the world of The Lunar Chronicles . I've only read the first one but the world just seems amazing! I loved Cinder and the m
Writing: NANOWRIMO The doom is impending.... It's almost the end of September and that means we are gonna be only one month away from November. That means NANOWRIMO time! For those who don't know NANOWRIMO stands for National Novel Writing Month. You spend one month (the month of November) trying to make it through writing a novel or at least 50,000 words of one. If' you've been following my blog for sometime you know that I've been trying to work on a story. I've been planning on writing this story for this years NANOWRIMO. I actually haven't wrote any of the real story what I have been doing is working on a backstory and my characters. I'm planning on spending October finalizing my planning and organization of my novel. Mainly: I want to be done making my playlist on Spotify, putting all my notes in order, and having my outline fleshed out. I think these things will help me immensely! I've participated in NANOWRIMO I believe in 2011/2012

My Current Reads I have a serious problem!! Since the readathon (#Diverseathon) is over I've noticed lately (the past few months) I haven't been reading as much. I've started many books but nothing seems to stick. Here are the examples:  Nothing seems work for me in terms of keeping my interest. I have been busy with work and barely have time to post here but I've tried my hardest to read. I'll get excited to read and as much as I push myself I just can't do it. I get roughly 100 pages into a book and then I put it down for one reason or another. Now I'm gonna try and push through all these unfinished books.  Also, it should be noted that that photo is just the books that I've made some sort of dent in (I'm 50+ pages into the novels).

#DiverseAThon Wrap Up September 12th  (12:00 am) -  September 19 th (11:59 pm) I did better and worse than the last readathon. I didn't finish any books but I started two. I guess that counts for something right? The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater. This is the first book that I tried to read. I only got about 80ish pages into it. Then I got very sick (I still am) and so most of my time was spent either at work feeling like absolute crap or I was home sleeping and trying to get better. It was towards the beginning of the readathon too so it kind of went all down hill from there. But so far I like The Raven Boys . I can't really judge it all that mush since I didn't get very far but I will be finishing it soon.  Every Heart A Doorway by Seanan McGuire. I didn't finish this one either. But this one was different than The Raven Boys . One, it was VERY apparent that this book was a diverse novel. The main character is asexual and we have side ch

Writing: Music Inspiration For the past few months, I've listened to the same album on repeat. It's been the cause of many things I'm working on. It's been where I'm getting a ton of my inspiration. Not only for my writing (which I will get to that in a minute) but also my art. The album is Atlas: Year One by Sleeping At Last. The album is just amazing to me. It's made up of six EPs. But the one thing that I find really unique is that they have themes. But the one things that I find really unique is that they have themes: Darkness (1), Light (2), Space I (3), Space II (4), Land (5), Ocean (6).    There are about thirty songs and they are oh so beautiful. I have my favorites (mainly the space ones, the planets). I made some art stuff too.   This album has really pushed me to write my story. I had an epiphany one night while I was listening to the album and it made me so excited for my story. I wish I had more time to write bu

#DiverseAThon TBR September 12th  (12:00 am) -  September 19 th (11:59 pm) #DiverseAThon is hosted by Whitney @whittynovels , Monica @shemightbemonica , Christina @krazytina05 and Joce @squibblesreads . They decided to make this readathon happen in response to a rant about diversity that was just horrendous. I thought that I would take part and try to expand my reading a bit.  Last readathon I didn't do so well so hopefully this time around I can do a bit better. I'm really excited and now I'm going to do some reading!! Some I Hope To Get To:

Review: It Ends With Us  by Colleen Hoover Format (That I Read It): Book Summary: Lily hasn't always had it easy, but that's never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She's come a long way from the small town in Maine where she grew up - she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. So when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily's life suddenly seems almost too good to be true. Ryle is assertive, stubborn, and maybe even a little arrogant. He's also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily, but Ryle's complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan - her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened. Initial Thoughts
