#CramathonWinter 2016  Wrap Up (December 16th 12:00 am - December 23rd 11:59 pm)  So it's been a crazy busy week since #Cramathon ended between work, Christmas and health problems it's been very crazy. I totally spaced my wrap up but here we go! Challenges: Read a book under 200 pages Read 2 books in 24 hours Read a book set in a different country than where you live Read a book you'be been putting off/have been meaning to read forever. Read a book with pictures Read a graphic novel Read 7 books total Read a book with pictures You're Never Weird on the Internet (Almost) by Felicia Day: I didn't finish this book but I got about half way. I love Felicia Day. She is so funny and quirky and absolutely loved her as Charlie in the TV show Supernatural so when I saw her memoir I had to pick it up and read it! #CramathonWinter 2016  TBR (December 16th 12:00am - December 23rd 11:59pm)  I am really, REALLY behind in my Goodreads goal so I knew that I was going to have to participate in Cramathon this year. I have a loose TBR set up but I'm hoping to read as many books as I can.   Challenges: Read a book under 200 pages Read 2 books in 24 hours Read a book set in a different country than where you live Read a book you'be been putting off/have been meaning to read forever. Review: A Court of Mist and Fury  by Sarah J. Maas Format (That I Read It): Book Summary: Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people. Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two. With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights. Initial Thoughts: After I read A Court of Thorns and R

Review: Crown of Midnight  by Sarah J. Maas Format (That I Read It): Book Summary: From the throne of glass rules a king with a fist of iron and a soul as black as pitch. Assassin Celaena Sardothien won a brutal contest to become his Champion. Yet Celaena is far from loyal to the crown. She hides her secret vigilantly; she knows that the man she serves is bent on evil. Keeping up the deadly charade becomes increasingly difficult when Celaena realizes she is not the only one seeking justice. As she tries to untangle the mysteries buried deep within the glass castle, her closest relationships suffer. It seems no one is above questioning her allegiances—not the Crown Prince Dorian; not Chaol, the Captain of the Guard; not even her best friend, Nehemia, a foreign princess with a rebel heart. Then one terrible night, the secrets they have all been keeping lead to an unspeakable tragedy. As Celaena's world shatters, she will be forced to give up the very thing most

Review: Milk and Honey  by Rupi Kaur Format (That I Read It): Book Summary: Milk and Honey is a collection of poetry and prose about survival. It is about the experience of violence, abuse, love, loss, and femininity. It is split into four chapters, and each chapter serves a different purpose, deals with a different pain, heals a different heartache. Milk and Honey takes readers through a journey of the most bitter moments in life and finds sweetness in them because there is sweetness everywhere if you are just willing to look. Initial Thoughts: I don't read poetry often and I don't think I've ever read a poetry book before. Then wen I was randomly in Barnes and Noble I decided to grab a thing I wouldn't normally read. I heard that Milk and Honey was good so I decided to get it. Review: ★ ★ ★.5/.75 Like I said I don't read poetry and even though I heard really great things about this collection I wasn't sure how I would like it. And

Writing: Nanowrimo Update.... Nanowrimo is a lot harder this year than years past. It's day 8 now and I've gotten very discouraged. The first two days were fine and I felt really excited to be writing but then it hit. This sudden slump. On day three I went out and instead of writing I went shopping (Which I'm really, REALLY happy with my purchase ) but I didn't write all day. I barely made a dent in my daily word count that day. Ever since then it's like I hit a wall. I don't know what to write. I've tried shipping around to write other scenes I know but that's only gone so far. After I write those scenes I'm stuck again. I don't feel motivated and I dread having to write more. The problem is I don't want to quit. It seems too early to quit but I'm so busy this month and I also still have a large TBR that I have to finish if I want to meet my Goodreads goal. I've fallen behind in everything and I don't know what to do.

#SPOOKATHON WRAP UP October 17th (12:00 am) - October 23rd  (11:59 pm) #Spookathon was sort of a success.... I mean I had a lot of fun and really enjoyed what I read but I also I never did finish a book. What a surprise! Another readathon that I tried to complete and then absolutely failed. This time though was my fault. I purposely stopped reading because I've been so excited to start Nanowrimo. All I can think about is my story and planning for my story. So reading as fallen to the wayside. I will be working hard at Nanowrimo prep until November starts.  CHALLENGES: 1. Read a thriller 2. Read a book with red on the cover 3. Read a book with a spooky word in the title 4. Read a 2016 release 5. Read a book with a paranormal character/creature What I did read was these three books here. Again though I didn't finish any on these. :( :

Playlist Book Tag Source The playlist tag combines two of my favorite things music and books. It's just like the regular playlist tag where you take your music and put it on shuffle and write down the first ten songs but for this one, you then have to take the songs and add a book that that song reminds you of.  (Links will all be included so you can listen to the songs.) Sacred Heart by The Civil Wars : Outlander by Diana Gabaldon This Is Halloween by Marilyn Manson :  A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness Roman Holiday by Halsey : Paper Towns by John Green Dance Floor Anthem by Good Charlotte :  The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky WALK THE MOON - Shut Up and Dance : Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell Talk Me Down by Troye Sivan : Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz Love Me by The 1975 : Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan Dirty Love by

The Supernatural Book Tag Source As some of you may know my all time favorite show is Supernatural. I can't wait for the new season (Season 12 I can't believe it) that comes out tomorrow Thursday, October 13th on the CW so in honor of that, I decided to see if there was a good Supernatural tag that I could do. What do you know I did!! 1. The Colt : If you could own a fictional item, what would you choose? If I got to have any fictional item from any book world it would obviously have to be a stele from The Mortal Instruments . I mean the whole thing about a stele is that you can get powers from the symbols you draw on with the stele. Then again you have to be the half-angel so I guess my plan is flawed. 2. The Impala : If you could own a fictional vehicle, what would you choose? Wow! So with this question, I realized that I don't have any real vehicles that I would really want. Most of the books. I read are about children (teens) so most of the
